Just across the hall from the Harbour Hotel’s health club, A.Z.U.R.’s main gimmick is its water menu, offering an extraordinary selection of H2O from different geographies. The food emphasises healthy, light bites, but it was the heavier Lamb Tagine that was the highlight of the menu for us.

Mi Vida

Located in The Club, in the grounds of Le Royal Meridien, Mi Vida is a seafood restaurant with an airy, Mediterranean feel and views of the beach and sea. The menu is a bit old fashioned, but the seafood is fresh and nicely cooked.

Comfy sofas, a pool table, shisha and the sound of waves breaking on the shore make this a fantastic spot for sundowners. Don’t expect any culinary wonders though, Wavebreakers serves basic, filling pub grub.

Bidibondi

Latin American food in a fun, friendly atmosphere. Probably the most popular bar among residents of the Shoreline Apartments, Cabana has a funky colonial-style interior and is always lively. We liked the lamb shank and the fajitas.

Veda

Located on the beach in front of the Shoreline Apartments, Veda had a shaky start but they have now greatly improved the menu. We liked the Dim Sum here, especially the bbq chicken steamed bun. Its location means that it doesn’t get a lot of foot traffic, so its a nice spot for a quiet meal.
