Soy

Had dinner at Soy last night (12 Feb 2010) with my family. Everyone ordered their main, and I ordered wonton soup for my main. When our orders came, the wonton soup was in a tiny bowl (size of a coffee cup) with 3 wonton and a spoonful of noodles. The price of this soup was AED 27.00. This is just an amazingly disappointing portion for that kind of price. I woudl understand if it was a 15 dirham dish, but it was AED 27. Plus the waiter didnt even mention that the portion was tiny, even if i said it was my main. I asked for the Restaurant Manager, but there were no Manager around. I do believe in my experience in eating out in Restaurants, the Manager should always be present, and that the waiters shoudl be aware of the servings of the dish. However the 27 Dirham Dish is just like sipping hot water!
