Its not easy to find a decent organic cafe in Dubai, particularly not one where the service matches the freshness of the food. Baker & Spice, in Souk al Bahar, is therefore a great discovery for fans of healthy eating.

The food here is simple and wholesome, with an emphasis on fresh ingredients. If you’re walking past, drop in and take a look at the excellent salad bar. They also sell organic grains and cooking ingredients for those who lament the absence of organic fare from Spinneys.

The interior is airy and relaxed, and there’s a terrace with great views of Burj Dubai and the Burj Fountain.
